how many ultrasounds have you had?

I had a bunch but a lot of them were due to issues.

5w2d Emergency bleeding
5w6d Scheduled dating
6w6d Followup because no heartbeat was found (still bleeding)
7w2d New doctor (because the last one suggested a d&c when he didnt see the hb)
11w4d NT
14w6d Private gender scan (4d)
16w5d Had a followup with doctor and mentioned pain on right side so he took a quick peek in his office
17w5d Emergency anatomy scan due to high afp levels
19w5d 20 week anatomy scan/followup (today)

I have had 10 so far with 2 to go

5 weeks initial scan
6 weeks high risk, spotting
7 weeks same
8 weeks same
9 weeks same
10 weeks same
12 weeks normal scan
16 weeks gender determination
20 weeks anatomy scan
24 weeks 4D

27 weeks still to come, paid 4D scan
31 weeks still to come, paid 4D scan

Mine were:

- 6 weeks at the IVF clinic to make sure it was in the uterus
- 8 weeks
- 12 weeks
- 15 weeks when I left the clinic and visited the doctor that's going to monitor me from now on.

Next one is next Monday when I'll be 19+1, and he said I'll be having scans once a month. He does external ones to measure the baby and an internal scan to check the cervix more thoroughly (yuck), but thankfully he only charges 50 euro each visit compared to the clinic that charged us 120 euro for a 2 minute scan!

I've had four so far! One at 6w, another at 10, then 11 (just a quickie after couldn't find HB on doppler), and another one yesterday when doctor didn't find HB in the right place--baby was high up, not low! I'll have another one in four weeks from today to find out gender.

I've had a bunch of scans but I'm considered high risk as I have diabetes & I'm over 35.

I had one at 8 weeks, 12, 16, 20, 22 (b/c we couldn't see his face at week 20 & I work for the hospital anyway, so they just told me to come back for a quick scan) & just yesterday at 26.

My friends who are not considered high risk have gone in for week 8, 12, 16, 20 & then 32 and I believe that's it.

when i was having my son when i was in the UK i only had the 12 week and 20 week scans but now i live in the US and here i had one at 7 weeks and 13 weeks and il have one at 20 weeks too, i think it just depends where you live and if your high risk or not :)

1 regular ultrasound at 20 weeks
1 fetal echo at 24 weeks - so only the heart

that'll be it unless we pay for one.

I have only had two so far. I had a very early one at 6+2 because of my miscarriage. The sac looked funny, so I got another one at 8 weeks. I haven't had one from my doctor since. I am scheduled for one on the 12th. It will have been 12.5 weeks by the time I get to see my baby again! I can't wait!!!

Private Early scan at 7+5 to confirm singleton
12 week dating scan
20 week anatomy scan
38 week growth scan (prev. large baby)

That'll be my lot unless I decide to go 4D but I doubt it as I don't like the look of them!

I honestly can't imagine going that long [from 20 weeks til birth] to see my baby again. We've been very fortunate, through my doctor [first tri I was high risk so we got one every week], from the NT and through private ultrasound we've had a total 7 and plan on having at least 4 more!

I have had 4. Will for sure have one more. I had one at 6 1/2 weeks due to severe pains in my side, they thought baby might be ectopic. That scan found an SCH, which doctor wanted re-checked around 8 weeks to check on it's growth. It hadn't grown or shrunk, so she said I didn't need one until the 12 week scan. SCH was gone at that time, and I had my 20 week anatomy scan last Friday, which baby would not cooperate with and tech could not get pictures of everything she needed, so they said I will need to return for a re-scan. Still waiting for the read on it from my doctor to check on my cervix length, but if my cervix starts shortening I'm sure there will be more, as there was with my son. Not needing many U/S is a good sign, even though it stinks you have to wait so long to see your baby! It means things are going smoothly!

So far...
Private early scan at 8 weeks
NHS 12 week scan
Private gender scan at 15 weeks
Another private gender scan at 18 weeks (didn't quite believe the first one :haha:)

Yet to have....
NHS 20 scan
Private 4d scan
NHS growth scans at 28 and 32 weeks

It really isn't that bad, I feel him/her constantly and hear the heartbeat at every Dr. appt. so I know everything is okay - seeing a blurry black and white picture won't put my mind at ease any more than it already is :)

Just the two nhs ones at 12 n 20. But also hada private one at 7weeks. Hoping hubby will agree to a 4d one later.

I have had five. But I was high risk until 12 weeks.

2 so far :)
7+4 weeks (dating scan)
13+1
And next will be 20 week scan which im very excited about x
I may have one before 20 weeks or after which will be to double check the gender lol

I'm only getting one; the 20 week one. Unfortunately, with scheduling conflicts, I won't be getting it till about 23 weeks. But I can feel it kicking now, and I feel like everything is fine; I'm mainly impatient to find out if it's a boy or girl.
