How many weeks do you go to for a second section?

Where I live they do them at 39 wks.

My friend had a second section with her little boy and I think she was scheduled for the week she was due.

my doc only schedules them on Fridays and wanted me to go in at 39w with my last one. I didn't want to though and had them schedule it for 40+1.

It is really up to you (unless you want to do it too early, then they won't do it).
