How much are your household bills??

How much do people pay per kWh for electricity? I was always under the impression that its more expensive in Finland but now I'm not so sure. I pay 6 cents per kWh (and thats for 100% renewable energy, I think its a little cheaper for non-renewable sources)

6 cent per kWh is sooooo cheap! Ours is 23 cent kWh and we're with rip off e-on. I have asked my OH if we could switch but he says its too much hassle -.- no he's just lazy. Apparently Germany has one of the highest rates for electric in the world. We pay 79€ a month and we got 2 energy guzzling computers on more or less all day.

Luckily our heating, water rates and other expenses (like bin collection etc) is included in our rent so we don't really pay much. We pay 500€ a month for rent and we have a rather large 3 bedroom flat.

Wow thats a lot more! I wonder if its subsidised here or something then.
Just had a look on the electric company comparison site here and now my company is doing a deal where you pay 12 euros a month no matter how much electric you use! And other companies charging just 0.2 cents per kWh!

I pay 12p kwH I think, you have a bargain natsku

all my bills are monthly but here goes:

The amount of direct debits I have are honestly crazy!! From contact lenses to sofa to 3 types of insurance, car payment, credit card payments, mortgage, payment to my dad, mobile phone, tv, council tax, xmas payment. I think it all comes to £1400 then food and petrol and other non essentials that you wantto do like swimming and baby stuff etc. No wonder were not left with much!!

My gas is £47 but I usually run up a credit with that.

Electric £70

£41 per month gas direct debit
£40 per month electric on a stick
£13 per week water direct debit

£141 per month council tax

We live in a 3 bed semi, our gas use is quite low, electric quite high due to reptiles and our water is stupidly high, I have no idea how we use so much water!!

We're in New Zealand, live in a 1940 detached 3 bedroom house (about 160m2) and each month pay roughly:
£75-150 on gas & electricity depending on whether it's summer or winter
£25-35ish on water
£50 on unlimited broadband and home phone with free local calls
£60 on SkyTV with sports and multiroom
£30 on two prepay mobiles

On top of this we pay a quarterly rates bill similar to council tax and insurances (car, house, contents, health, etc.), which add a fair bit to it.

Gas & Electric is around £70-100 per month for both(depending on time of the year)
Virgin: £50 (TV, Phone & 30mb broadband) TV is all channels bar Sports/Movies
Water: £45
Council Tax: £140ish

We live in a 4 bed detached with double glazed and central heating.

Gas and electric combined £150 a month direct debit
Council tax is band f, not sure about monthly payments as still waiting for those to be calculated but a year its £2300.
Sky is around £50 with full tv package, phone and internet
Vodafone £20 month
Three £41 month
Water around £20 month
Tv licence £37 every 3 months

Sky about £40-50
Tv licence £12
