How much bleeding is too much with AF?

I have been bleeding a LOT since yesterday. I have to change my tampon every three hours (even at night) and still more than half the time I soak through my panties.

I am getting concerned. I don't feel particularly awful, just have a funny taste in my mouth and I'm sleepy, crabby and have dull cramps.

But, second to my miscarriage this is the most I have ever bled. Anyone else bleed this? Should I get myself to the doctor or just wait it out?

i had not ovulated since coming off BC until august and then when mother nature came with her month gift i bled sooooo much i literally mean it was as if it was gushing out sorry tmi and i usually only bled for 4 days but this lasted 6 i got a little worried so spoke to my doctor he confirmed that sometimes that can happen and not to worry unless its the same this month
