How much do you bf your 1yr old??

Hi,

I know there is no normal but I just wondered how much your one yr old feeds. My little one will wake once in the night and feeds and once in the morning. The just have little 5 mins here and there in the day and then b4 bed she will feed from both boob b4 she goes to sleep. She used to feed more than this but since turning once she has cut down.

My son has milk for his naps (2 per day) as well as to go to bed. He will have a few random sips during the day but not a proper feed, unless he's not feeling well.

My 15 mo old nurses 5 or more times a day.twice in the around 1 or 3 am, 5:30 am or when she wakes for the day, days Im not working she will nurse 3 hours after waking for naptime, then again for afternoon nap. Days I'm working she nurses at 4pm when I get her,then again around 5:30 pm. Then bedtime.

My 16 month old will feed 3-5 times during the day and all night if I let her lol. She does wake 1-3 times at night. I really thought she'd have cut down by now but she loves her boobie (Mmmm as she calls it whilst patting her own chest)

My lo has just turned 1 this past weekend. For a while she has hardly fed in the day now, she's far too nosy and busy but she will feed when she is tired. Night time is different altogether. She wakes up quite alot, making up for the day I guess.

My DD is nearly 1 and she feeds first thing in the morning, before her nap, at least once in the afternoon, before bed and then usually twice during the night. So on average 6 feeds in 24 hours but some days it can be more. Sometimes she only feeds for a couple of minutes at a time but she'll feed more frequently.
