Hey

Guess i am being really nosey, but me and OH are moving into the house we bought in less than 2 months. We have worked out all our bills/mortgage/ saving for car insurance/ including money we want to save and it leaves us with £110 a week to ourselves. This will rise by another £25 a week in Sept when i get a pay rise.

Is this enough if we were to consider TTC? We are putting money away into a 'baby fund' so that will cover some of the big bits. I also figured that If we were to consider TTC before my ticker like Dec...before baby is born i would of paid of car loan so thats an extra 200 a month.

Not sure how much a baby cost a month really and not sure if this is enough to be living off if a baby was to come along. And thoughts please?

after our bills are paid and all baby stuff as been bought we av between £500-£600 per month
am sure you can manage hun i was the same as you before sam came along
am sorry im not much help hun but didnt want to read and run :hugs:

If your putting money away before you ttc then that will help loads x

Thats for the reply its helpful, if we were to wait till July like my ticker we would be more better off, but i could say that forever. lol x

We dont spend much after bills are all paid. Prob about £500 a month on us then I spend about £100 a month on Meadow max, that includes clothes and toys.

i think its very manageable honey, really and truly babies are only as expensive as you let them be, you can but nappies and wipes on offer and formula, if you choose to ff is only around £10 per week and by 6months when they are eating if goes down again. sounds very exciting sweetie :D xx

Yeah u will manage hun. When LO comes you will get £80 a month child benefit, and maybe entitled to tax credits too. :hugs:

Fab reply girls made me excited, but still wont be TTC for a while yet, december at the earliest. This gives us time to settled into house and redecorate if needed. Also i figured if i was lucky enough to get PG around that time, i will have baby Sept/Oct..as i am a teacher i might be able to take most of the year off maybe return for a few weeks at end off year, then will have the six weeks off. Not sure if we will manage with me going back part time but will cross that bridge when we get to it! x

i only have about £10 spare a week so you are doing better than me!!
