I was wondering if someone could give me a bit of advice.
Harry is almost completely breastfed, but when he was 3 weeks old we introduced one FF bottle at about midnight which OH would give him so that I could get a bit of extra sleep
We were using SMA Gold which says that for Harry's weight, he should be given 5oz. However, Harry would never take the full 5oz. He would only ever take 2oz max and would wake up as usual with all his BFs, 2 hours later.
Two weeks ago, I bought some SMA White which is for hungrier babies. I had the idea that, if he is only taking 2oz, if he could take 2oz of something that will fill him up more, then he might sleep a bit longer. However, Harry still only takes 2oz of the SMA white, and still wakes up 2 hours later
My main question is... why is Harry only taking 2oz when it says he should be having 5oz for his weight? Is this normal?
