How much formula for a 6 week old?

Hi everyone,

I normally breastfeeding but I am leaving my LO with my Mam tomorrow for a while and she will be getting a couple of bottles of formula. My question is how much would a 6 week old who weighs 8lb 11oz normally have in one feed?

Hey I'm wondering what everyone's thoughts on this are. My baby is 5 weeks & weighs 7.5lbs and she is drinking around 7 5oz bottles per day - does this seem okay?

4/5 oz. Half their weight in pounds into oz Completely different to expressed milk though!

It really depends! My baby's took very little. Just make up a six ounce bottle first time and go on how they do with that for the next time.

To the other lady asking, yes hun that sounds perfectly healthy. My little ones never took that much xx
