Hi, I'm making the transition from breast feeding to formula so I've no idea how much my LO should be drinking. We're doing BLW so she doesn't really eat much yet. Thanks xxx

You'll probably find this really varies from baby to baby, but my son has about 26-30 oz of formula a day.

He doesn't eat much in the way of solids yet. We're doing BLW as well and hardly anything actually gets swallowed.

Thanks. I was thinking about still doing the morning feed myself, then 3 7oz bottles so I think that's about right xx

Try it and see how she does :) She'll let you know if it's not working for her!

My LO will never have 7 oz in one go like that. He still likes to eat every 3 hours, I'm still feeding on cue, so in a typical day he has 6 bottles. He can go a little longer at night (but still requires 1-2 night feeds). I fill them to 6 oz in case he wants it all, but he usually only takes 4-5 oz in one feed.

Good luck I hope you can figure out a way that works. I combi fed for a while and did as you do, the first morning feed from my breasts. (It was nice because I got to stay in bed longer, hee hee.)

Exactly! That's why I want to do the morning feeds, lol! She seems to be ok with 7oz. I'm only really going with 7 because that's what's in the ready made cartons! I haven't got my head round making up bottles yet!
