How much money minimum do you need to spend for the month?

After bills?

I'm going to try and give myself £100 a month to spend, and put the rest of my wage towards paying off my debts so I can get a car ASAP. It will be hard as I'm terrible with money, but it will be worth it in the end

About the same as u £100 there's 4 of us so it's hard to keepto it but I lost my job and hubby has had a reduction in salary due to the recession so we really struggle that's after debts bills etc xxx

Aw no that must be hard! Im terrible with money, and at the age of 21 and after being in full time employment for 2 years, no rent to pay or any children, you'd think I'd be OK with my money!

God we have rent, electricity, phone, gas etc to pay. It really adds up over time!

if i had to i could live on 100 but a normal mont would be 200-300. depends if were meeting friends or driving anywhere. if we didnt do anything then 100 is fine

Until DH is making more than $800 in a week (it's doable if he works full time or gets overtime) we don't get any spending money at all for ourselves. And even then, until our debt is paid off we'll try to only spend $50/month between us.

Is this before bills and food?...... We spend about £100 on food every 2-3 weeks! I don't think we could do that!
