At 11 months, my daughter probably still wasn't always eating vast quantities of food (not as much as she eats now anyway!), but she was having breakfast, lunch and dinner plus milk first thing in the morning, in the afternoon around 2pm, sometimes also again around 4pm and then before bed. We did BLW and she's always fed herself, so the amounts she would eat would definitely vary. Some days, she could eat a whole bowl of porridge for breakfast and 2/3 of a banana, other days she'd just pick at some toast and orange slices. After about a year and a little bit though, the amounts really picked up. We actually found that giving her her own fork and letting her try to use it helped her eat more as it became a bit more interesting to eat again.
