how often to feed-water

how many times a day is a 6 month baby supposed to have milk? my baby wants milk every few hours not including night, is he just thirsty? when do you start giving them water?

Milk should still be their main source of nutrition for the first year, but it's fine to start offering water in a sippy cup alongside meals.

I agree, milk is still the main source of nutritian so continue to feed on demand. We've started offering some water at each meal but not in between as I don't want her to go off her milk feeds.
