we have a lovely little boy who is 10 days old
how much formula as in oz's do your children have?
He's currently on 2.5oz!! does this seem a lot?

hi hun, my LO is a week old and has about 2oz every 3 hours, sometimes 3 depending on how long her nap has been

around about that age by lo was on 30-50mls every 4hrs but he was really small and on pre-term/lbw milk

My LO is 2 weeks old and she is taking 90 ml about every 2-3 hours xx

Evelyn was having quite a bit for her age...I think she was on 3oz by a couple of weeks or so (I was pumping breastmilk at that point) she now has 5oz of formula :) As long as there's plenty of peeing and pooping every day (and he's gaining weight okay) then don't worry... The only thing that happens (from lots of experience) if they have too much, is vomit all over you ^_^

xx

I have real feeding issues with Daniel.
At 9 weeks old, he eats every 3-4 hours, but will only take between 2 and 4oz.
He is on the 9th percentile.

My lttle boy is 2 and a half weeks and has 3-4 oz every 4 hours

Jessica is 8 weeks old this week and is having 3 - 4oz every 3 -4 hours, sometimes 5 when shes REALLY hungry

To the OP, that's not a lot, don't worry! My LO started out on breastfeeding and topping up with a 3oz bottle

My LO is 4 months old and taking 14oz per day. She has 2 or 3oz at each feed, and has a feed every 2 or 3 hours, and normally sleeps through the night, so don't feed her between 9pm and 9am

The formula pack recommends she have 35oz, but she doesn't want it. Growing and thriving though, so nobody's worried about her progress.

LOL, yeah, nice bit of projectile vomiting in the morning! I know it's only a few ounces, but it looks like she has a fireman's hose in her belly

My LO is 5wks old and has 125mL (just over 4oz) every 4hrs. Sometimes has to have an extra 50mL occasionally for a top up.

my daughter is 6 weeks today and she takes between 3-5 oz every 3-5 hours depending on her mood and the amount of sleep shes had:thumbup:

Jayden is 2 weeks old today, has 4oz every 2-3 hours, does this seem alot? should i put him on extra hungry milk?

When Maddison was two weeks she was taking 4oz every 4 hours day & night & i was worried she was having too much but now shes 14 weeks and taking 7oz 5 times a day (sleeps through the night) so its kinda evened out now.

All babies feed differently dont worry about it sounds like he's doing just fine :flower:

Thanks hun :hugs: midwife said he's doing well + didn't seem worried, i think he just has a good appetite! :)

Jake's 6 weeks and is having two 5 oz bottles a day, one at night and one in the morning. Then the rest of the time he has 4 oz bottles every 3 hours :)

It seems your LO is right on track hun. Jake was having 2 to 3ozs at that age. xx

my 8wk old is on 6oz and has 5 bottles a day! hes a piggy lol

At 10 days old my LO was on 4oz, she went straight upto 4 withen her first week then not long after upto 5oz, so I switched her with HV advice to hungry baby formula. She's now 4 months old and on 7oz xx

my baby was having between 2-3ozs from birth to 3-4 weeks now at 5weeks + she is having 5 oz.she also feeds every 3-4 hrs and goes up to 6 hrs thru the night at the moment.
It sounds right on target hun what he is having..he will slowly but surley want more as the weeks go on
congrats on your baby
xxx

Samantha is almost 8 weeks old and she is having 4 oz. every 2-3 hours (mostly every 2 hours). Sometimes she eats way more--the other morning she had 8 oz. within 2 hours, but she had also slept 5 hours during the night. At first, I didn't know how much she was getting because I breastfed for about a month. She was always hungry though. She still loves to eat, but is definitely satisfied after a feeding now instead of irritable. But, I think if there were 10 oz. in the bottle, she would keep on chugging!
