How old we're your LO's when they started STTN?

Seems to take longer for EBF babies to STTN? My LO is now managing 6 hours (7pm-1am) then wakes at 5/6am. Just wondered at what age he may stretch this out further?

My LO goes 5-6 hours most nights, she's only 3 weeks old so I think I'm really lucky! She's slept like that from the beginning but I used to wake her every 3-4 hours in the night to feed. The only bad thing about it is the engorgement but that's gradually getting better now.

we have had 5-7 hour stretches most nights since about 12 weeks, it does vary though. We bedshare so its a non issue but i usually remember that i fed her once of a night.

DS was 14 weeks old, prior to that he was every 3 hours on the dot. DD is nearly 5 weeks and does 4-5 hour stretches and has done since birth.

My son is 5 months (actually born the day after yours!), he has only ever slept through the night once or twice. He usually gets up once or twice. Most nights he'll sleep from around 7:30-8 pm to 3 or 4am, then he often wakes around 6am to nurse and will then sleep until 8 or 9 am. So he does sleep long stretches, and he's not up too early in the morning, so I really can't complain, but I don't know when he'll sleep all night! Maybe once I start feeding him more than just breast milk.

My daughter was doing 8 hours at11 weeks and then 11-12 hours at 15 weeks....good luck...it is hard. Now...but when you do get there you forget how tired you were. I am sure you hate it when people say that, but my husband and I always say "remember when we thought she would never sleep?"

It went by fast! Good luck!

Our LO did 6-10 hour stretches from weeks 11-19 and then the 4 month regression/wonder week 19 hit and it all went downhill from there. After that the longest stretch he'll do is 4 hours and that's rare. At 8 months we resorted to part time bedsharing so I still get some sleep too!

About 8 weeks. She goes down at about 9 and sleep until about 9 in the morning.

7 weeks, then at 16 weeks he stopped and now he gets up once or twice still.

My son did an 8/9 hour stretch at 5 weeks and it got longer and longer from there (bit of a regression at 4 months and a nightmare week or so at 6 months) but generally he would go 12 hours and still does!
Dd would be up once or twice a night but did her first 11 hour stretch at 4 and a half months.
Xx

My DD started consistantly sleeping through the night at 11 months

Lauren's 11 months & I'm lucky if I get a 3 hour stretch. She had 4 nights of just one night feed the other week which was bliss!
xx

I've breastfed all 4 my children. The first slept through from around 2 months (12+ hrs), the 2nd slept through after age 2, and the third only slept through long after his 3rd birthday! My current 4 month old sleep 5-6 hours and thereafter wakes every 2-3 hours.

Hmm, if you mean consistently STTN from bedtime until morning....then I'm still waiting! He started to STTN from 11mths but then since he turned one all sorts of things have been waking him again (teeth etc).

10 months, never sttn, still wakes up a lot. Even more atm with teething...

I'd settle for just waking once, Robyn needs feeding every 2.5-3 hours round the clock. If I'm lucky, she might go 3.5 hours at some point in the night.

Well, my 13 day baby is not STTN! LOL! Of course not. But he has been doing 2.5-4 hour stretches amazingly enough, a few times only woke once for a feed.

But my FF baby was 23 months to STTN. I think the child's disposition is a massive
factor, it's really not just food.

16/17 months ds1 - ds2 already sleeps better than ds1 did as he's amazingly going 2-4 hours between feeds LOL! (9 weeks ;-))

ds started sleeping 7 - 7 with a 10:30 dreamfeed at 11 weeks. stopped at 16 weeks! thanks teeth. now he wakes 2 - 3 times a night.

Slept 10pm to 4am until he turned 4.5 months. Then a cold happened and he never went back to that fabulous sleeping pattern ever... We have had a bad time when he was 5-8 months old ( teething plus the occasional cold) -LO would sometimes wake every hour! Slightly better now, with him sleeping 4 hour stretches!! I live in hope that he will STTN, stalking this thread!
