How quickly does Gaviscon work?

So we went to the doc once more and we were told to give Katerina Gaviscon on top of Losec. She is taking the maximum of Losec she is aloud to so Gaviscon was our only choice. I was told to give it up to 6 times a day.

Fro your experiences how long until it works, is it instant? And also, how often do you recommend me giving to her? I will definitely start with her evening bottle as night time is her worse!

Seemed to work pretty quick but it is obvioulsy not a cure. Was quite noticeable from the first time we used it. I choose not to give 6 times a day as recommended as it is quite high in sodium.

Good stuff for us though-but i dont think our LO has reflux as bad as others.

After the first dose for us. But it was all she was on.

Should work after the first dose as it thickens the milk in the tummy x

Should work instantly - we can't use it as it gives LO constipation, use SMA staydown milk instead now. Just have to keep going until you find what works for your LO xx

Right away, although I can't believe they didn't let you use gaviscon before Losec, Losec is strong stuff!

Sma stay down and Losec works for us, we tried everything before this though
