How soon after false labor did your real labor begin?

Since Weds (6 days ago) I have had quite a large increase in BH contractions, they come every 30 minutes pretty much, sometimes even 10-15 minutes appart. Loads of them a day all day long, even at night when I am sleeping though when I am lying down they are less noticeable. They are becoming stronger too. Occasionally I will also have lower back pain and period like cramping with them.

Wondering how long after you experienced false labor did your real labor start?

Oh and I had a similar experience with my 2nd child...4-5 days of false labor and then I went into active labor with her. I know though that each pregnancy is different!

It hasnt yet! was 3cms on friday with lots of contractions and stuff and still there, in limbo wondering what comes next!

The very next week with my dd. I was so bummed when I got checked and was sent home, then when I actually went into labor I was nervous that it wasn't real contractions but after hours and hours and nothing helped I decided to call and go in I was already 5 cm by that point.

I was rushed to hospital with very strong contractions at 35w whilst i was at work and then got told it was false labour... a week later, my knickers were went (didnt have a big gush) and then i had strong contractions again ranging from 8-10 minutes then 15-20 minutes...

Called the hospital and they told me to come in with DH and bring my over night bag incase - they then told that my hind waters were broken and that i had to stay in as i was 36w...

Thanks girls! Today I woke up and my contractions have slowed way down...only had 2 so far this morning. A little bummed but I do suddenly have this huge burst of energy so hoping that is a sign of things to come soon too...I have SPD and am so uncomfortable I am ready for her to come!
