How soon after my miscarriage can I start having sex again?

My miscarriage was confirmed on the 28th after a visit to the ER when I was 10 weeks, 3 days. My Doctor said the baby died in my 7th week. I'm still bleeding, not as heavily as it was 3 days ago. I want to have sex with my man! When the bleeding stops of course but maybe that's not the best idea? I read somewhere that I shouldn't have sex for 3 weeks.

I would make sure that your cervix has closed completely to avoid infection.

I always heard after your next official period (which is supposed to come 3 weeks or so after a miscarriage). But I am no expert. Sorry for your loss ;hugs2:

We DTD after the bleeding stopped, a doctor checked me over and examined me, so after that we was in the clear and DTD again. Good luck

We did the deed after bleeding and used a condom to prevent pregnancy before next period x

Once bleeding has stopped every time for us. Only time we've ever prevented after a loss was for 6 months after the molar because I had chemo. Hope your rainbow comes along really soon xx
