How soon after...

Hi Ladies
does anybody know how soon after you concieve does it show on a HPT?
I think I had a really late O and I'm 8 days late on a 50 day cycle...I tested a couple days ago and it was a BFN. I have had a regular AF for the last 8 months and its strange that I'm late. I hope there is just not enough levels to show yet. I'm going to test again tomorrow.
