how soon can you test?

Just a curious question, both times with my kids i waited and tested on the day of my missed period. However, i know you can test earlier, with a good test (any recommendations?) how early can you test before your next period? Or how many days after BDing? ty xx

about 9or 10 dpo with an frer but its prob best to wait till 11-12 dpo x
