How to get LO to tip the cup?

My LO's been drinking from cups for a bit now, he much prefers the soft spouts but sometimes we use the hard spouts too.

Problem is, he can hold the cup himself but doesn't know how to tip it. When I help him do it, he will let go and just expect me to give it to him.

So how do I teach him to tip it for himself??

Byron has only just learnt to tip the cup and he still struggles when it's getting near empty. I left him to play with the cup after meals and he's taught himself really.

I agree,just make sure he's playing with the cup or attempting to drink from it a lot and he will figure it out

DD only just figured out how to tip it now and sometimes she won't do it enough. I just let her play with it when it was empty, think he'll learn to do at his own pace.
