I've literally had my washing machine 5 months and noticed it already has some mould on the rubber :nope:

I've run 2 hot cycles with bleach and scrubbed and though its better its still there. Anything else I can try?

You could get something that you use for mould on walls. We had something for that and it contained chlorine. It got rid of the mould and it didn't return either. I doubt it would prevent it returning but I'm sure it'd get rid of it for now.

I use a mould and mildew remover, never tried it on the washing machine machine though, but it works a treat on other stuff :flower:

Thanks ladies, I'll go and find some today

Xx

If you leave the door open and run a cloth around the seal it stops the mould growing. I've not found anything that removes it totally tho.

My mum runs vinegar through her washing machine.... But then she uses it for everything :)

Vinegar is also suggested in this blog post I ran across a little while ago. It might be helpful to read the whole thing.
