How to have a thread shut down! Help!

THERE IS A THREAD IN 1ST TRI SECTION CAUSING ALOT OF PROBLEMS. IT IS CAUSING ALOT OF CONTROVERSY AND I REALLY THINK IT WOULD BE BETTER IF IT WAS JUST DELETED ALL TOGETHER. I REPORTED IT BUT I DONT KNOW HOW ELSE TO TAKE CARE OF THIS.
