First off congrats to everyone on their pregnancy :happydance: I just wanted to know what your cramps were like before you got your BFP. Did they feel exactly like AF or did they feel a little different. Some people swore they were getting their period then BFP so i just want to know if it could feel the same as AF or different. And did you have any other real symptoms like sore boobies or nauseous or did that come later.

Thanks for any replys :coffee:

My cramps were just like af was coming!even wore a pad as really thought it was arriving, other symptoms came bit later.

That makes me feel good especially when you say the symptoms came later. I have been pregnant before but had MC but i was 19 and don't remember having any symptoms until i realized i couldn't remember my last period so I could have been like 6 weeks late. But once i knew i was pregnant the symptoms came I think it was all in my head or at the time i had symptoms and didn't know any better :dohh: too long ago to remember i'm 28 now lol

My cramps were a bit worse than my normal menstrual cramps! Normally I don't get very bad cramps or I just won't have them at all. So I thought it was odd when I was getting them so strong and frequently

When I first got my BFP 13 dpo, I kind of had a gut feeling because I didn't have any cramps at all.

Normally I start having pretty bad cramps the day before AF starts, but it was like my cycle had reset or something, and I just knew AF wasn't coming. It wasn't until the next week or so that I got cramping. It was much less than period cramps for me personally. It was also more on the sides of my uterus and not full on like when I expect my period.

I wasn't at all expecting to get pregnant so I wasn't like REALLY concentrating on how bad my cramps were, so they might have been a bit worse or a bit better than normal, but they were close enough to AF-cramps that I thought that was what they were.

It's so hard for me because sometimes i get cramps strating at 4 days before AF and sometimes i don't have hardly any. I'm pretty crampy this cycle I thought for sure a few times my AF was starting but nothing. My last 2 cycles have been only 25 days long which is short for me i range usually 27-29 and an occasional 26 cycle but hardly ever 25 so that's been weird but as of right now if i get my AF today it will be a 27 day cycle. Fingers crossed i either get AF so i don't have to play the maybe i'm pregnant every day AF doesnt show just for it to show on cycle day 32 or something or i'm actually preggers.

Yes, with all of my pregnancies (4 now) I've had period like cramping. With DS#2, I didn't even test until I was a week late because I was sure AF was on the way from the cramps. With this one, I got cramps that were so AF like that I kept going to the bathroom with a tampon at work because I wa sure I was about to start. I started getting the cramps around 3 days after AF was due, and really got them stronger a week ago today. Now they have basically subsided though

I should add though it wasn't a regular cycle and I didn't think I was pregnant at all because I didn't even DTD until after CD21!

I had really light, mild AF-like cramps at 6-8DPO, then at 9DPO I had a short period of sharp stabbing twinges down low in the front towards the pelvic area. I got my BFP 12DPO and 13DPO starting getting weird stretchy-like cramping. Especially if I move just right. And those have been around since (now 18DPO, so really far along right? :winkwink:)
