How would you pronounce this?

OH and I are naming our little girl Arianna, how would you pronounce that name if you saw it?

Air-ee-anna or Are-ee-anna.

We are pronouncing it as Are-ee-anna, but a lot of people seem to pronounce it the other way.

I'd Pronounce is Ari-anna (ana) however my language background may have a hand in that. Beautiful name either way!

The names we've picked out are going to be rough on people including my own family to pronounce properly without it being said to them so they are in Russian (My Fiance is Ukrainian my family is Mexican.) yours is easy in comparison.

When i was pregnant with my son -- the first name i decided on (if it was a girl) was Arianna -- love it!! SOOOO pretty!

The baby's father's family could not (or would not??) pronounce it as i wanted: Are-EE-on-a (Ari-ana)

His mom kept saying: Airy-anna & driving me nuts in the process!!!!!!!

I now work with a teen mom who has a baby named Arianna & she pronounces is "Airy-ana" -- so i guess it's just a personal preference -- i think you will often have to correct people.
