I've never had an HSG before, but since I had a chemical pregnancy just about a year ago to be exact, the dr deemed it unnecessary. I have one tube and ovary, the other was removed during a surgery a few years back. I am thinking of asking my dr if this cycle is a bust if he would recommend an HSG next month. Does this make sense, do tubes randomly become blocked within the year?
These might be dumb questions, but I am worried about wasting money on treatments that would be impossible to work if that were the case.
Also...I have read some women say that an HSG was terribly painful to the point where they just wanted to scream ....is this true?
Thanks in adavance!
