HSG?

So I had my HSG X-ray today, was a bit painful when she put in the speculum but not unbearable. Was fine up until 2 hours later I got this awful pain in my shoulder so I went for a lie down because I'm on nights but couldn't sleep as I got cramping. I'm now in work and I'm so tired, It hurts when I sit down and when I laugh one cough or move too quickly. I feel achy all over like I'm about to get the flu.

Is this normal? If so how long does it last?

Good new though: my X-ray looks fine

hmmm Im sorry Im not sure after my hsg I was cramping but felt fine as the day went on. Im sorry hope you feel better!

I just had one on Tuesday and I didn't have any cramping. I had a lot that came out right after and still a bit... Sorry if tmi

i would suggest calling the dr. could be post procedure infection? wouldnt hurt to call. after mine, i was cramping, but it got better as the day went on.

I had my hsg done earlier this cycle and I ended up getting constipation...and my pottying has been off since...but they said it shouldn't have affect my pottying habits...I was in so much pain I went home from work and almost went to the er....but the cramping and such wasn't bad. Everyones experience is different....I had one lady freak me out before hand...and turns out it wasn't so Bad...I'm glad I did it call your doctor though just incase

I had mine a few days ago and didn't have any after-effects at all. Maybe you should give your doctor a call?
