i had a hsg on wed and it hurt sooooo bad... go to talk about the results in 2 days! sooo scared...anyone else had this? how was it for you?

Hey,
Yeah I had mine. Was quite painful but only lasted like a minute.
Well worth it as well. It's supposed to clear out anything and make you super fertile
I got my results straight away while it was being done, could see it being done on the screen. Might be different depending where you live

Full name of it is hysterosalpingogram (said hister-o-sal-ping-o-gram, haha had to learn that for every time I tried to ring up for an appointment)
Its an x ray of the uterus and fellopian (sp?) tubes. They insert a speculum and then a really thin tube. Then they put a dye through to see if it flows straight through. It shows up any issues like blocked tubes.
Some women don't feel it and some do.
