ok is it just me or do they reek of chemicals? it says on the packet they are alcohol and perfume free but they stink! i really like them but they smell really bad (we buy the big boxes of 9 and they all the same). does anyone else think they smell a bit funky?

i use the shea butter ones and swear by them they are lovely and thick. i always do the face test put them on my own face as alot of alcohol ones sting esp jhnson lotion ones, not tried the pure ones though.

i hate the smell of them!!! im now on the huggies ones that are on offer for a pound everywhere!

mmmm the shea butter ones smell yummy! ive got some huggies now with cucumber fragrance theyre nice.

i havent noticed the chemical smell, just that they are a bit dry

I have just sniffed one and couldn't smell anything!

I don't think they smell either. I really like the huggies pure wipes actually. They're much better than pampers sensitive. Nice and thick and moist :D

I don't think they smell, but I do find they rip quite easily.

I dont think the pure ones smell either, the shea butter ones are great but i find all of huggies wipes a bit thick and difficult for getting into the nooks and crannies sometimes, plus they always tear :hissy:

I find that the pampers sensitive wipes STINK! Still yet to try the Huggies.

I cant smell the huggies ones but there must be something in them cos whenever I use them poor Mylo get nasty nappy rash! So went onto the pampers simply clean in the orange packet. They were on offer and I got loads. I wont go back to huggies.. there defo summink in them thats not agreeing with my babys skin. :nope:

I thought they were rubbish and always tore. Can't remember what they smelled like!

Huggies pure wipes gave my LO nappy rash too. They are thick and I find they don't slide smoothly over babies bum. We had like 10 packs of them from when they were on offer, so I used them myself when I was healing haha. We use either Pampers sensitive or Johnsons normal ones now whichever are BOGOF in Tesco.

Yeah I agree. I don't think they smell of anything and you don't need to use about 10 like with some others.

I don't buy them often though because I'm tight. Waitrose own is the best cheaper pack that I've tried.

Cant remeber what they smelt like but they gave my LO nappy rash and tore so annoying lol

We swear my pampers sensitive

I bought a pack when they where £1 in tesco and i ended up using them to clean shoes!! They smelt awful and tore so easily. I now stick to pampers.

i found the pampers and johnson ones to elasticated and leave his bum really wet. i've never ripped a huggies shea butter one, and before you've put the nappy on his bum is dry, never had nappy rash either.

its what you like isnt it, i hate pampers nappies but i love huggie matual fit they're really padded and have nice big fasteners too

yeah, i dont think any of the brands are better than the others, its just finding what suits your baby. I was using the simply clean ones for a while and amelie was getting a really bad rash on her bum and face bcos of them  Same with the aloe vera huggie wipes and the mew huggies ones with the hands on the packet.

I dont like huggies wipes or nappies.
I think the nappies are a bad leg fit and leak, and the wipes are thick and rip when you take them out the pack, plus I think they are too wet.
And asdas wipes are the worst for smelling chemically.
Give me lidls own nappies and wipes anyday :thumbup:imo you would be hard to find anything better.

btw does anyone really pay £2.24 for a pack of wipes?
I pay 97p for lidls ones and would onyl pay £1 from the pound shops for other ones.
