Was just shared a video on FB from a friend....its showing a mom opening her Huggies wipes and there are teeny teeny glass pieces on two of the bags she opened from the same big box....her smaller pack doesnt have them so it must be a issue with a certain lot....

here is the FB video so you can see what to look for on your wipes if you buy Huggies...

since opening the bags wasnt shown best not to just jump to conclusions that they came in there, she might have put them in there. just look at your wipes before using. I've never had any problem with huggies and I've used them for well.... lets just say my oldest has his own apartment now and my youngest hasnt started kindergarten yet

Someone else just posted a different video opening a brand new pack and finding the same thing. I think there may be cause for worry here!

Thanks for sharing this. Always good to be aware. I was told that the same thing has been going on with pampers nappies x

so its all parents from random parts of the country conspiring against Huggies? I mean they all found same thing..multiple parents....idk Huggies..seems kinda like you might be covering something up

Not to be funny but who films opening a pack of nappies/wipes and what are the odds it just happens to have glass while they are filming.

She didn't just open them and found it, she had realized it when she wiped her face off with a wipe and felt it, this was AFTER she had used three packaged in her daughter who started screaming during diaper changers. She filmed the opening of two of the packages from her both and another single this was after she found it. Several people have reported the sane issue, and even found a rusty looking substance on their wipes.

Pampers is having an issue with a woman who found metal shards embedded in her diapers.

Just makes me glad I cloth diaper and use cloth wipes. Too many times manufacturers have errors they don't catch and then we suffer for it while they lie to cover their butts. There needs to be a recall until the cause is found.

Fair enough makes more sense , thanks for the clarification.

They aren't glass shards it's the scent in them, when the baby wipes are stored and get warm the scent oils become crystallised and form small crystals that look very similar to glass.

I live in a town where it gets 120 at the hottest in the summer and never had this happen when my DD was still in disposables and used disposable wipes. And my wipes packs (unopened in the boxes) were stored on the porch in the sun.

Is this only certain scents it happens to? Still why would this happen all of a sudden and not previously with people in the past?

Just curious haha, either way I hope no babies got hurt badly. Poor little ones got scratched
