Well Harry and I are going through a battle of wills at the moment. I'm trying to wean im off BFing and onto FF. He's always had a bottle of FF at night before bed since he was about 3 weeks old, so we know he will have it, and the weaning seemed to be going so well, until this week when we upped the number of bottles and decreased the number of BFs so now he only has a BF in the morning and one in the evening. He's really not happy about this at all, and is refusing the bottle during the day now, pushing it out with his tongue, and then crying because he's hungry. I've not given in, but the days are SO hard work at the moment.

I saw the health visitor this morning who suggested that Harry might not like to take the bottle from me because he can smell my breast milk and wants that instead. Her suggestion was for my husband to feed Harry with the bottle... which is a great idea, except husband is at work in the day?!

Anyone else had similar problems and if so, how did you get through it?
