I'm supposed to be having a Hycosy test next month, but I have worked out that I should be ovulating around that time.

Can the dye that they use affect the spermies, or a fertilised egg if ovulation has already happened??

I am on my 4th round of clomid - and really don't want this cycle to be wasted!

Am hoping to get this changed, but don't want to be told on the phone they can't rearrange and I am just being stupid!

Looking forward to knowing your thoughts!

no you are not being stupid, A hycosy is similar to a hsg and a hsg should be done cd1-10 to avoid this

so def ask the question as you dont want to miss an opportunity!

I just phoned up for my hsg, as Muncho said its very similar, and the woman who does them says they normally ask the patient to call back on cd1 so they can fit it in at the right time, ours here was between cd6-cd10 ad they will only do them at time in your cycle, not any other time. I would ask so you dont waste an opportunity!

Thanks Ladies!

Really didn't want to cause a fuss, as I have had to cancell the scan due to illness and af twice! So really didn't want to phone up and cause more problems!

But will deff be phoning up today, to sort that one out!
