Hello All

I know a fair few have followed my story...in short at my 20 week scan we got told our little girl had too much fluid on heart, lungs and stomach which was called Hydrops Fetalis and she would only have 50% chance of survival.

We had her chest drained a couple of times but literally an hour or so after it would rebuild again to dangerous levels.

We went a couple of weeks a go and the fluid was less, we then went back yesterday and no fluid whatsoever the hyrops had cured itself :) Never been so happy!! Its an amazing feeling!!!!! The odds were so against her being ok, let alone the hydrops resolving!!

The only thing now is that the specialist baby hospital would have sigend us off but she now has a 'bulge' on the external part of her tummy so we have to go back in 4 weeks and there is a chance it could be a hernia of some sort.

Its nice to have the relief that she is ok and I can start buying pretty pnk things now :)

Thank you everyone for all support and well wishes for our little girl
xxxx

Hi Brightlights,
Your story brings me so much hope. I am 14 weeks preggo with baby#2, first one is 3 years in cot andhealthy as can be.

Friday we were diagnoised with a hole in the babies heart and sever hydrops surrounding the baby. I am a wreck. The gave us only 10% chance of survival. I am praying everyt moment that my sweet baby will be ok.
