Hypoallergenic & Amino-Acid Formulas (where do you buy?)

I need to buy some to see what works best and since they are so expensive, just wondered where you buy yours for the best price?

Need to buy Nutramigen and Alimentum to start but may have to go to Nutramigen Lipil, then Neocate & Elecare if she still reacts with the 1st two types.

My Daughter is on Neocate. I think it is amazing. Can you get referred to a child dietician? Not sure hw things work there, but in Nz they can write prescriptions to get the formula subsidised. Hope you find something that works, been there done that and i know how stressful and difficult it can be when trialing new formulas.

Our insurance doesn't cover the hypoallergenic formulas in this state (Virginia). We don't have to try the AA just yet as we haven't gone thru the hypoallergenic trials yet (I'm actually going to the store to buy some Alimentum right now to test it out. The Nutramigen was ordered online and should arrive tomorrow.

Amazon is where I bought Alimentum. Could never get my baby to drink it though! Tastes pretty nasty.

I know.. I'm tried pineapple with it yesterday (found a blogger who used that once and her DD loved it) and my DD puked everywhere!

This morning, DH tried vanilla and she pursed her lips and swatted it.
