Hypothyroidism and failed IVF/ICSI/FET

Is there anyone out there that has hypothyroidism and has gone through a IVF/ICSI/FET cycle? Was it a success or fail?

I've been reading some stuff online and I'm thinking that might be WHY my fresh ICSI and FET failed! Everything was great (lining, blastocyst quality) I just don't understand why it hasn't worked for me, and now I'm thinking it might my my underactive thyroid. I have been taking synthroid to regulate it and my family doctor says my levels are good, but my FS never mentioned anything about my thyroid or it affecting the outcome, but now I'm thinking otherwise. I don't have my follow-up appt for another 3 wks... I'm going crazy trying to rack my brain of why it didn't work...I'm desperate for answers, and desperate for this to work. Thoughts????

hi, do you know if you have thyroid antibodies>? ask your family doctor. I am pre thyroid thyroid t4 is low end of normal, just started thyroxine in January and my levels are improving.,I also have raised anti tpo levels(thyroid antibodies..) there is mounting evidence that like they attack the thyroid gland as if its a foreign object that they also attack a growing fetus. I have had 3 very early miscarriages so it seems to fit for me. Currently waiting on the go ahead from fs to start me on steroids which have some effect on the antibodies and reduce their activity.

Hi ya, sorry to hear it didn't work I don't have any idea about IVF(I am on IUI) but have read that acupuncture does help and since you have thyroid problem I wud suggest to go for acupuncture if possible.
