But then fob goes and does something else that makes me think "what a c**t!"

He has actually just went and quit his job! Why? So he wont have to pay for Lexi.

Who the hell does that so they don't have to provide for their own child?! Oh no it's fine...I'll just pay for everything on my own as usual.

It's more annoying that his mum covers for him and his bullsh*t and expects to come up and take Lexi out for the day pfft!

Rage. Super rage.

Personally I would cease access then. I know some people won't agree with me but you can't have the fun side of a child without facing up to the responsibility of providing for them. Perhaps it will shake him up so he realises he can't get anything his own way. Also, not sure how it works in Scotland but I am pretty sure if you have an agreement in law then his quitting his job for the purpose of avoiding maintenance means you can take him to court and he will have to pay the agreement and the backdated amount too.

Some men need a good kick up the backside, or somewhere else! :hugs:

Well we didn't have an agreed amount since the csa can't get hold of him because he wont answer his phone to them or get in touch when they send him letters.

I can't cease access sadly as if he takes me to court he still gets to see her even if he isn't paying, ugh. He lives 3 hours away though and not bothered to see her since about 3 weeks ago, according to his mum it's because he's 'giving me space'.

I'm going to be giving him a kick in a certain place if he's not careful..

The annoying thing is he could do a lot if he actually bothered, but he's too interested in drinking with his mates

I would go for full custody if not already and I would remove his rights from accessing the child unless he provides support!

I've already got full custody and he has no rights as he's not on bc but sadly he still has rights to access regardless :(

I'm in this exact situation he left work as he doesnt like it as he put it but I know it's because he doesn't want to pay I'm livid with him they just seem to always find a new way to piss us off x

I wonder why they want access if they're not even bothered about helping raise their kids? Sounds weird. Even if he has to claim benefits he'll have to pay CSA.. ! The systems so messed up that they can just quite work and not have to contribute!. x

I agree, he doesn't deserve access when he clearly isn't concerned about her, it's not like the money is for me. Men are such idiots, I don't know what he thinks I do but it sure as hell not what I actually do when it comes to doing all the hard work and paying for everything and then he expects to take her for a few hours when it suits him to play happy familys and doesn't even put a penny towards her! So infuriating! I think his next plan is to go back to college, this wouldn't bother me if I knew he was only doing it because his mum told him to knowing it would mean no money at all for lo. Ugh
