Just thought i should tell someone....

I am heading towards 'beached whale' status. And there was me imagining i'd be one of those Yummy Mummies (mystical beasts that they are...)

Don't worry - you'll be ok as long as you don't start on the M&S Extremely Chocolatey Mini Bites! Mmmmmmm....minibites......

I was the same quite a few weeks ago. I can't get enough short bread to eat but I have to ban myself from eating it as my sugar goes up.

dont worry im only 6 weeks and havent stopped eating the past week.

Im completely obsessed with biscuits. Mostly shortbread and chocolate chip cookies. They are all I think about all day and have to have a whole packet every day. I wake up craving them! I have even started making chocolate chip shortbread. Its taking over my life!!!!!!!!!!!

:O I have this!!! I love shortbread...started off on the Tescos finest stuff and have ended up on the 48p Pattersons stuff as you get more in the pack :happydance: yummy mummy i will be not! lol xx

Trouble is i don't stop at shortbreads...

Have also had galaxy chocolate, a croissant at lunch time. This is not the healthy diet i planned.

Just had a banana to keep the doctor happy. Though i suppose i could just have stopped eating altogether instead....

I am the same! saw you have now moved to the 3rd trimester... how are you feeling?
xx

Hello Rita!!

I'm good thank you. Slowly starting to relax a bit more, but really just want to get to the 28 week mark, (though now i want a waterbirth i want to make it to 37 weeks!). Goal posts keep on moving!

But a lot better on the whole - still sick of modified bed rest, but slowly feeling more like a 'normal' pregnant lady

How's you?

Whew - glad I'm not the only one who can't seem to stop eating - it's all I seem to be doing all day at work now!! :hissy: I gained 3kgs (6pds) in 2 weeks (albeit I have started swelling up a bit now) but I'm feeling a bit embarrased about it all. I know it wouldn't be so bad if I was eating a whole lot of fruit and veg but biscuits, crackers and other naughtys taste so much better!

I must be the only one on here that doesn't want to eat sweet stuff! I even find grapes can be too sweet.......... haven't had chocolate since April/early May, not eaten crisps either or any junk food. When i got queasy did pop softmints for the mint oil, but not cause they were sweet. Mostly drank mint tea!

I'm with you Kate! I love the highland shortbread too! I've stopped buying it now though cos there are only 10 fingers in a pack and I can easily put away 6 with one cup of tea!!!! :munch: I can resist everything but temptation! :muaha:
Also loving Cadburys chocolate fingers and Green & Blacks Butterscotch chocolate... It's all very odd as pre-pregnancy I was never bothered with sweet things much?
Even stranger is the fact that I still haven't put on any weight? I am still being sick most days though and I was very overweight to begin with... Guess it will all catch up with me over the last 12 weeks? Still wearing all my normal clothes at the moment... :hugs:
