I did a stupid! UGH! Help! Need reassurance! :(

So now I'm worrying, again! First of all, I ate lunch meat last night without even thinking! I was hungry and so tired I didn't think to check if it was on the no no list! UGH! I feel ok today though so hopefully all is ok.

But the bigger worry is that I stupidly bought a box of CB digi (weeks estimator) and used one this morning (with fmu) thinking it should show 3+ but it showed 2-3 which is 4-5 weeks. Now I know my hcg was 1112 on Wednesday and it doubles every 48 hrs. (and I've def been having symptoms). I did a walmart cheapie on thur am and it was kinda darkish, and then yesterday I did another and it was darker than thursday's test. From the research I just did it says 2-3 weeks is 200 hcg to 1,999. If my hcg was 1112 on wednesday it should be over 4000 today or at least at 4000 even if doubling every 72 hrs! Am I right? I'm starting to freak out a little bit and am now terrified that my hcg isn't doubling anymore and might even be dropping! Does anyone have any input, experience with this, etc.? I'm trying to not cry here! I'm scared to death that this means another mc is coming. Maybe I'll call the dr office tomorrow morning and beg them for another hcg. I dunno what else to do. I'm worrying myself into a frenzy now. Stupid test!

Hey, sorry haven't messaged you ( having a nightmare weekend, will tell you about it tomorrow!)
Please don't worry about the CB test, I have read so many stories about them causing upset when there is no need! Don't get me wrong I have used them myself and always kick myself for doing so as think they cause more worry than reassurance!
Sorry to be TMI but how concentrated was ur urine! I know you feel ur HCG should be a lot higher but I swear I can pee out pure water sometimes...you did say you have been peeing a lot too!
Wish I could make u feel better! Remember how much closer we are than last week!

At one of my early appointments, the nurse mentioned lunch meat as something to CONSIDER staying away from, but said my OB doesn't even mention it to her patients because the risk is so incredibly small and she's never seen anything bad happen from lunch meat. So I still mostly avoided it, but did have it occasionally while pregnant with my daughter and she's just fine! I hope that makes you feel a little bit better!!

I've been told they can be more trouble then they are worth sometimes. They can be it wrong so many times and they are not an exact science it's just a rough east image. Please try not to worry hun x

I would ban these tests. They cause so many worries to women. i know it's hard and you are really worried but please don't trust them. They are not 100 percent accurate. I get myself in such a state every pregnancy because of these tests and spend so much money on them. I would get an early scan at 6 weeks or repeat blood test if i was you just to put your mind at ease. I got 1-2 at 4 weeks with pm diluted urine, stupid woman. I made myself so worried, stopped drinking liquids at 6pm till morning, woke up very early and so anxious to test and got 2-3. My urine was so dark that i was obviously dehydrated, feeling like crap. yes, i was happy to see 2-3 but then i thought hold on, i had no fluids like half a day!!! that is bad, i am gonna make myself sick. i said to myself no more but i know i wont be able to help myself next week when see if i get 3+. Seriously I would like to say to Clearblue: ' It works, you got us all and I hope you enjoy all the money that you make on us women desperate trying to have a baby'

Anyway, I wish you get some sort of re-assurance and can calm yourself a bit. I know how you feel. The hard part is that the outcome is not in our control. I wish you all the luck and i hope your baby is doing fine. Keep us updated.

Clearblue digis cause so many woman to panic. They can be such a worry, bloody awful things I was the same. I had one left when I was around eleven weeks pregnant, so I took the test just to use it as I figured I might as well. It should have said 3+ weeks by then but it said 1-2 weeks. I went into such a panic and was convinced that I was going to mc. It was a horrible week waiting for the scan but it showed a perfectly healthy baby. She's now 2.5 years old!
I agree with the other ladies that the tests are more trouble than they are worth and I don't think that they are accurate at all.

I am keeping my fingers crossed that all is okay.

Babytots, thank you. I am praying that it is wrong! I am only 5.5 weeks along though so because I'm still so early, I'm afraid of something not going right and numbers decreasing and leading to mc.

Doodlegirl, thanks for trying to help put my mind at ease. I agree with you about these tests! I now regret buying and using them! They helped reassure me last time even though it did wind up ending in mmc at 8.5 weeks. I might go to my dr office tomorrow and beg for another hcg count just to reassure myself. Meanwhile, I do still have my symptoms. I'm tired, thirsty, yawning, hungry, very bloated right now, peeing frequently, etc. So I'm praying that that's a good sign!

Bevz, omgosh! I'd of been in a panic, too! But also 11 weeks is time for the hcg to start dropping again as I hear it does toward the end of 1st tri.

Well I did another first signal (walmart cheapie) test this am and at first I thought yay it's darker than the one I did on Thursday. But now that it's drying and almost dry, it looks about the same. Now when my FRERs quit getting darker I worried but found out after consulting google that someone did a blog about those with pics and showed that FRER hits a threshold at a certain point and I had def hit that point. I have done the same kind of search about First Signal Pregnancy Test and cannot find anything about a threshold! I'm praying that what is happening to me right now is the same as with what happened with the FRER and I've hit the threshold point but I dunno. Ugh! I really wish I could find some kind of reassurance! The only reassurance I found yesterday was a few websites where women had said that they had the same problem with the CB digi (weeks ind.) and that it said 2-3 for them too but when they had beta done it showed over 2000 and in at least one case one woman's hcg beta showed over 4000 and the stupid digi still said 2-3 weeks. So knowing that that can be true and can be what is happening does help and I'm just praying to God that that is what has happened in my case! I'm also really frustrated as I told myself I wasn't gonna be paranoid and obsess over it this time but yet here I am doing exactly that! The worst part is that I know that even after seeing a hb (if we get to see one) that there are still no guarantees as the last one we lost was after seeing a good strong hb. I've also been really emotional the last couple of days so hoping that's a good sign. I'm not sure if I should wait out the 2 weeks (ugh) until my appt and scan or if I should be a pain in the butt and ask for another beta. If I did get another beta, I'd have to take myself as DH is working. Meh.
