Hi ladies

I'm just transitioning from first trimester to second and am currently 13 weeks 1 day and I just don't feel pregnant. Is this normal?

I had my dating scan last Wednesday and all was fine but I feel totally like my pre-pregnancy self.

I never had any pregnancy symptoms except sore breasts but they have pretty much got back to normal and I have no cramping, pulling, stretching or uterus heaviness at all. I sometimes have to remind myself I am pregnant before reaching for someone I shouldn't eat or drink!

I'm worried that I should be feeling different. I aren't showing yet either do it feel like a joke. What are the chances of things not being ok at this stage after the recent scan. Am I bonkers to even think it?

I really hate pregnancy!! It's been 16 years since my last so Really it's like the first time for me and I'm also older at 37. We tried years for this baby and had lots of failed treatment and this was a total surprise. It makes me more nervous though.

Thanks girls xx

I think it's normal for most women to start to feel normal again by 2nd tri. The placenta has taken over so try not to worry. I was the same but it never lasts unfortunately lol so make the most of the extra energy!

If your scan was fine then you should consider yourself lucky! My first pg I wasn't showing at all at 13 weeks but I felt so sick then it was impossible not to know I was pregnant. Once the morning sickness went I felt just like my non-pg self. Are you getting a "hardening" in your lower belly (just above your pelvic bone)? That's probably the only sign if you don't have ms. That grows slowly and lets you know all is fine. Try not to worry!

Thanks guys. I can't feel anything in my tummy but I carry a bit of weight in that area so it's harder to feel anything much. I'll just hope all is well and hold onto the fact that the ultrasound was fine last week. I've not stopped worrying all the way through x

I only had cramps in the early first trimester due to a hematoma but no symptoms aside from it and I still don't feel pregnant at 22 weeks. No back ache, no pulling, no heavyness...I had one round of Braxton Hicks the other day and I feel kicks. But that's it :).

Thanks Marumi, that makes me feel better! I just want to fast forward a few months!! Lol x

With DD I felt completely normal the whole pregnancy besides some sore boobs and cramping in the beginning. Beyond being tired with this one, I feel pretty normal again.

Try not to worry, everything sounds pretty normal! :hugs:

Thanks Marumi, that makes me feel better! I just want to fast forward a few months!! Lol x

I am waiting for the day when I pass the 30 week mark ;)

Having had one miscarriage (4 + weeks) I am paranoid about another loss somehow.

This is my second and I have felt totally normal with both! No sickness, nothing - no symptoms at all! We are the lucky ones! Now baby is moving/kicking it reminds me its there but other than that I forget half the time! Wishing hou a healthy and happy pregnancy xx
