when we went camping i had hollie dressed in pink jeand a matching top and hair band i'll post a pic later but i thought she looked cute

this woman walk past me and said 'omg what has she done to that poor baby'

do you think its wrong to put hair bands and such on your lo?

A few hours later the same woman (she had a lo about a year old) soid to me face to face...'Look at you your just another tragic teem mum arnt you' i said and your just another old mum arnt you as your lo is learning bladder controle you'll be loosing yours' she stormed off like a stroppy child. (she was like 50)

not very nice what i said but she offened me.
Hollie is a happy clean nice baby who is very contented and i think were doing a good job.

gahhh some women. I didnt judge her so why she felt the need to do it to me idk.

Huh. You know, I think it really varies, it's all about personal opinion. It was definitely unnecessary what she said to you but try and be the bigger person. :hugs:

I know but it came into my head and before i had time to stop i'd already said it. gahh. usually i stop myself but this time i'd had enough.

Thanks usualy my head doesn't think of any good come backs for like three days..this too 0.003 seconds haha.

Haha that's funny. I always tie my LO hair uP I'd putbands on her too but she just pulls them off

People are ignorant, that's an awesome comeback though ;)

Lol love the comeback.
Riley wears bows. They look cute on her lol

I actually don't understand what the problem was...? did this woman have a thing against hairbands or pink or what? great comeback though, I'd never be brave enough to say it.

got the same thing about Lane ( Because he dresses in cute little rocker cloths) and I told it was my choice just like it was her choice to be an ignorant, fat bitch.

I like some headbands. But I think some are tacky. Like the really big ones that look uncomfortable? It is hard to say because I think tight headbands are quite uncomfortable so it is unfair to make a baby uncomfortable. But it is the same with jeans, not as comfy as trousers.. I'm kind of rambling, but I'm on the fence about headbands. If I had a girl I would probably buy a few but not put them on much.

The lady was bang out of line though. Good comeback. :D

she only had the out fit on because my mum bought her it and the jeans were a little big not much ans the same with the hair band. there not even propper jens more like material. ah never mind i just didnt think there was any need for her to comment to be honnest.

Good for you for sticking up for yourself but that was so rude! ALL mums get stereotyped in one way or another, and yeah fair enough she shouldn't have said that to you, but all mums get comments about something, i really don't think you should have stooped to her level because when you think about it, answering back is just going to make her have worse opinions of young mothers.

Great comeback  just let it go...

Can I see a pic though just to be nosey :cloud9:

. Id have just told her that it was none of her business rather than be rude, By "judging" her you are only giving her the same judgement she gave you....Although i can understand why you did it :hugs:

Your baby is about 8 months right?...I really dont think it was any of these peoples god damn business!. I mean its not like you were dressing up a newborn with silly hairbands and such!!

I have no idea what that lady's problem was. Lol. That comeback was amazing! I wish I had that quick of a wit

I don't understand why so many people hate headbands?I love them personally.
I would of had to of made a rude comment back but that's just me

I didnt mean to be rude, she had just been giving those look you know what i mean

This was the out fit :)
