I think writing my rant over on teen parenting has made me realise just how serious this whole thing is and just how serious FOB was in what he was saying. Oh gosh...
Let me give you a little background. Been with FOB since I was 12. I am now 18! Childhood sweethearts you might like to say. Well when I found out I was expecting FOB told me after our 12 week scan that he had cheated, one night stand when drunk about a year ago. We split but got back together 3 weeks later. Found out he kinda had a 3 month affair with a girl just before I fell pregnant. She told me because she felt guilty seeing my 25 (i think) week bump! We split for good this time. Trust gone!
My little girl Daisy was born a week and 2 days ago. We decided with all the emotions running high that we should get back together. We did and on Saturday I fell ill with a cold added to my already tired state, I was a mess! FOB took Daisy to his house (we both live at our parents place, not together) for 3 days, Sunday to Tuesday. I went to pick her up yesterday now feeling a lot better and very much missing her to discover that he is one lazy man! His Mother literally did everything for Daisy while he decided to play video games and clean his car! He washed her once and did most day feeds and held her only when she wasn't crying. I don't even think he put her to bed, too much hard work. When his Mum told me this I was angry so confronted him. He basically told me that the last 3 days have told him that he is not ready and he doesn't know what to do because he is not ready to be a Dad. We basically got into a big row and split, for good and I mean it this time. I also think though that he and Daisy split too. I have said I will bring her over to his house for weekends, not to sleep but for a visit to his family. However I think that will be it. We haven't spoken since. To be honest when he told me that in front of his Mum the look in her eyes kinda told me that he was serious and that maybe it was confirming what she had been thinking. I can't believe he has given up on his little girl a week in... Guess it is just us now...
