Baby looked perfect, It was so active it kept stretching its little arms and legs. I go back in 2 weeks time because of the position baby is in we couldn't get a good picture of its heart. We get to know Gender tomorrow :)

Me too!

Baby was awkward but midwife persevered so we don't have to go back.

I immediately went out and bought lots of adorable pink clothes as everything I have is cars and superheroes :haha: #shopping!

Ahhh too cute for words! I had my 17 week app today and was referred to a fetal specialist for my 20 week scan. (Being plus size and opting not to have the downs test got me the referral) haha klonk ! Did the scan take very long and did you need a full bladder?

I did need a full Bladder which really sucked especially when he pushed on where the baby was I felt like I was going to pee myself :haha: and the Scan took about 45 minutes or so, I think because he was trying to get the Babies heart But because of the position Babe was in he couldn't so he gave up and I get to go back in in a couple of weeks :)

Oh goodness. Im dreading a full bladder. Its super painful when they start prodding around, i have to agree! Our Little miss is such an active baby, i hope she co operates so they can check her properly! Eek! Thanks so much for info.

I didn't need a full bladder. My hospital only asks for that if your less than 15 weeks.

Lovely photos :) so exciting you're finding out the gender tomorrow!

I have my scan next week it says a moderately full bladder on the letter, how full is that exactly? :haha: I prefer the old letters which said drink X amount an hour before!

So....big news.

I went to a specialist today regarding my placenta previa. Well, they aren’t concerned about the placenta, the BIG issue is a clump of blood vessels directly over my cervix. Those will not move with time, unlike placenta placement. If I go into natural labor, the vessels will rupture and cause baby to bleed out. The vessels are related to where the cord comes out of the placenta. So the major change is that they want to admit me to hospital at 32 weeks (Nov 19) to monitor me and then do a csection at 34 weeks (Dec 3).

They cannot risk me going into labor. So....there’s that. Here are some photos from today’s scan. Good news is that baby girl is totally healthy.
