No matter how carefully I try to open a new can of formula it always explodes everywhere- usually in my face & eyes.

That, and trying to dig the scoop from a new can. I try to use my old scoop, but dh always throws it away!!!!

Haaha I feel you frustration! I don't shower the powder into my face but I always break the metal protective layery thing so I have to hunt for some scissors to cut the rest of it off.

Do the inside of your formula lids not have little clippy things on them so you can clip the scoop onto it?

We use Cow and Gate and they do. My husband always puts the scoop on the inside of the lid. I suppose its sensible but I just chuck it into the tub. Really annoys him haha.

ha ha I hate digging around for the scoop too! I just use the old one from the previous can and leave it in there most of the time!

hahahaha...same here..wish they would come up with an innovative can with a dispenser that'd pump one scoop everytime!

The ones we get don't have the scoop holder.

One time I "innocently" asked my husband to do it for me and it completely exploded EVERYWHERE- in his mouth, eyes, hair. I laughed so hard!!!

I have a bottle drying rack on my kitchen counter and I stick the scoopy on one the drying posts. Sometimes I forget and toss it back in the cannister and then, yes, it's a pain to find again!

I hate it when the scoop gets wet from the moisture in the bottles and then sticks to the scoop -- so I usually grab an old, clean one and use it - don't tell my OH!

I hate it when I cut myself on the foil seal every time I scoop out formula. Anyone else do this??

hahaha i hate this too!!!! I am acually using a different type of formula with this lo then i did with my dd. I remember that EVERY time i opened the can with my dd it always exploded. OMG i hated that. One time we were in town and my dh just grabbed a new can and through it in the diaper bag cuz the other one was almost gone. He just cleaned his car and i asked him to open the can cuz i knew what was going to happen and i didnt want him to think it was me haha and powder went EVERYWHERE hahahaha he was sooo mad. but it was just halarious. WIth this formula though the enfamil gentlease i rarly have that problem only like 2 times i think haha. And i totally understand about the scoop thing too!
