I'm going through this at the moment.
I have just had baby number 3, I have hypothyroidism and am medicated for that, and I went back on the pill 4 weeks PP as I've already had 2 'whoopsie' babies and don't fancy another, at least not quite yet
.
I have been having terrible PMT, awful mood swings mid-month, acne and hives, my hair is awful and I am losing weight like buggery due to nervousness, insomnia and my taste-buds being completely screwed up!
I went to my Dr to ask what I could do. I have done some research and it would suggest that it's my pill reacting badly with my thyroid medication. I proposed this to my Dr who dismissed me completely with 'it's your age dear!' (I'm 30 btw!) and 'these things happen when you've had babies!'. I was surprised as I happen to know that this particular Dr has 4 children herself so for her to dismiss me quite so out of hand was shocking.
I'm totally beside myself with what to do to be honest. hubby and I have decided to take me off the pill (his responsibility now lol) and see if that makes a difference. I've been so bad this past 48 hours, I've gotten so worked up I just can't go on like this!
