I had my 16 week appointment yesterday afternoon and heard baby's heartbeat for the first time! It was brilliant!
The midwife spent several minutes telling me that I might not hear it and not to worry, but as soon as she placed the microphone thingy on my stomach I could hear the heartbeat! Yay!
Then baby kept moving aorund, which sounded quite funny. The midwife said everything sounded perfect! So happy!!
I feel so lucky, I know a lot of people say that there 16 week appointment was too short and they didn't get to hear baby, but so glad my midwife is lovely and I got to hear our LO!
Four weeks to wait until the next scan....
