Sorry ladies its another work rant!

So today we were given the dates of when we can pick to have our 2 days of around Christmas (week before that week and up to 2nd Jan) Each dept must sort it out between ourselves and there must be 3 people in at a time. There are 6 people in my dept so it would be easy right?
Well there is a unsaid agreement between me and another lady that we alternate who gets Christmas Dates off and who gets New year off, for the past 2 years as a favour to her as her father was about to go to the great pub in the sky i said she can take Christmas but i want Christmas this year "No problem".
I havent seen my parents for Christmas for 2 years so i am really excited of spending Christmas with them this year.
We all agreed to wait until everyone was in as someone was off sick today so i go down to sort the post out, i come back upstairs and guess what the b**** has done :growlmad: Yup she has asked everyone what they want and gone to the boss to confirm the dates so i am stuck doing New Years again!
I was and still am fuming! I pointed out what we agreed and she started crying! I went to the boos to see if we could change and got told no :nope:

No need to reply its just so frustrating that i get screwed all the time at my work

Next year Hun I would go straight to the boss nad yourself down for Christmas and stuff her!!! Sorry it hasn't worked out for you this year x

Hope you get it sorted. That seems quite underhand to me xx

Hoping i win the lottery tonight then i can walk in flip her off and hand my notice in :haha:

Agh, I can't stand it when women turn on the waterworks to get their own way, gives the rest of us a bad name. If she felt that bad, she would've changed it.

Oh well, you'll know not to do her *any* favours in the future.

Agree with this!

Sorry hun :hugs: xx

Eugh this woman doesnt have any shame! I could go on and write a book about her. My in laws and friends love me talking about her latest goings on because she is THAT unbelievable.

the exact thing happened to my mum!!!! she wants a few days off around xmas as my baby (first granchild) is due... last year she let one of the guys on her team have it off as his wife had recently had a baby.. so she said i want it off this year.. he was like oh i dont know now.. were sort it out. my mum was off sick for a week.. she gets back to work and hes booked off the dates she wanted!!!!! she has to work 1 bank holiday and she was happy to do any but 24th & 26th..

If im in labour im gonna personally go mental at this guy. he had his time to be with his wife last year.. and i need my mum!!

hope you get it sorted hun. some people are so selfish!!!

You could always pull a sicky.... ;)

Wow, what a jerk! :hugs::hugs: I would keep on her to fix it. That is plain evil of her.

What an absolute witch! I absolutely loathe people like that.

Well walked into work this morning and her nose is so far up my bosses ar$e you can only see her feet! :growlmad:

If i was you, I would tell the boss what your agreement was and say that you have plans this year, that you cannot change, and that you were NOT asked what days you wanted so you WILL be off xmas and put in a formal complaint - as this woman didnt bother to include you in the decisions.

We do it alternating at my work - in a way its nice to be off but a swizz as you get to leave about 2pm on the days you are in so best to not use up the days off. For me its an issue as OH is working as well so we have to have MIL stay with us for 2 weeks............which is fun NOT!
