I need some baby free, uninterupted sleep, before I am commitable...

Bethan has never been a good sleeper, but the last few weeks has been a p*ss take, to be honest. We've just moved house, so I think it's a mix of upset, teething, and diet change, but she's just not sleeping. She won't sleep in her own cot again, so she's back in with us, and she's taking over the whole bed. However, as well, it's taking hours to get her to go to sleep, and she's waking up ever half hour, and the only way to get her to go back to sleep, is to feed her. Which means I'm just up, constantly.

If I don't get some sleep soon, I'm going to go mad.

oh dear hun. I have no advice really im afraid! Is there anyone that can take her for abit so you can sleep? X

Not at the minute, which is the worst bit. We've just moved 400 miles away from my family and all my friends, and OH has just started his PGCE to become a teacher, so he's out all day, and studying all evening.

So it's just me and Bethan being cranky buggers together, at the minute. We're visiting at half-term; I'll just go and sleep for the whole week and get stocked up.

when your oh is home u should have an hour kip to yourself will do u the world of good xx

Yeah, I'm going to try to get some sleep when she has her naps. I think the thing is, that for the last few days, she's also cut out naps, so I'm especially cranky. Bugger it, I'm sure things will get better when she's more settled, and until then, we'll muddle on.
