I keep getting so close to giving up BF and trying to get her to have formula, even if it's from a cup! But I know it would be pointless now and I should just wait untill she's a year and can have normal milk!

I just need a push in the right direction!!

 Well done you for getting this far!!:headspin: You should be so proud. I'd like to gt to 12 mths too. So:happydance: Go toriaa :happydance: Go toriaa:happydance: Go toriaa :happydance:
Was that good enough or would you like more. lol:blush:

You have to hun - you are my inspiration!! If you give up, you'll have to feel guilty about me too!!!!!

Come on hunni you can do it!! I feel so guilty that i stopped breastfeeding and i admire you for keeping it going so long.

Come on hunn keep goin i know you can do it  Go toria!!!!!!
xx

Why dont you express and give that to her in a cup? or do you do that already... why do you want to give up?

Don't give up! Your so close.
I know the feeling though, I've gotten close to giving up so many times Harley has terrible reflux and cries and screams, and struggles through most of her feedings, but its worth it. In the end, your doing something wonderful for her.

My family all say I should have stopped at 6months, and now its getting me down that much im thinking about stopping

I know you're all going to say this isn't necessarily true.. but I think she would sleep alot better if she wasn't breastfeeding

you know what I think... I dont have to say it... however, if you want to continue bfing, then continue on. If you feel, for whatever reason you want to stop, then go about it. You id a great job doing it for so long.

I know it's not necessarily true, but sometimes I just get to the point where I'd try anything!!!

I think, despite what anyone else says, you should do what you think is best for Caitlyn. If you want to continue breastfeeding, then do that....if you think she should start on formula instead, then do that. One thing I wanted to tell you is that; you have made it this far with breastfeeding, so you know she does well with that and it wouldn't be hard to keep going. Then again, you are the person in the situation so you know what is best for your daughter. Whatever you do, she'll continue being a healthy, growing, beautiful baby girl. :)

No, I do think formula helps some babies sleep better... but I also think them having their own bed can help too. But as said, it all depends on what you want.

Same here Toria! I was thinking about giving up but thought to myself...I've come this far, what is a few months more.At 1 year you start giving cows milk anyways.
Another motivator.....your saving money. Boobie juice is free and formula is expensive!

aaw hun, just hink what you went thru with the relactation and stuff. with the sleeping, hve you tried expressing the last feed of the night? katie used to sleep really well when she had her last feed from a bottle i think she got it faster or somethin. didnt have to work as hard.

and like kat said, yourekinda an inspiration to me too, when i was feelin dead shit about my milk and was considerin formula, you well cheered me up and reassured me!

Get your booby out for that baby and hush! :)

As you know Bren doesn't sleep well at all, but if i didn't have the boob I don't know how I would handle him at night. I know for me, I plan to keep going, I love nursing and am very happy and satisfied in my choice of feeding my son. Do what is best for you both!
