I have a 2 year old boy and am now pregnant with a little girl. For my son I went in to be induced at 40 weeks because I had no real contractions and hadn't dilated at all. I spent 27 hours in labor and I only progressed to 4cm. So I had to have a C section. My question is that since I had no real labor signs the first time, will my body react to my second child like a first time delivery or second time delivery?

Congratulations on your pregnancy :). What was there a reason they induced you? If it doesn't apply this tie and you're able to wait until you're ready for labour then there is a better chance that you'll progress this time, plus with it being your 2nd your body will supposedly "remember" what to do. I've seen a lot of stories fro women on here who have had a section due to failure to progress and gone on to have a successful VBAC. Good luck :)

I bet if you were induced with a better Bishop Score your body might have responded better. https://www.babymed.com/bishop-score-induction-calculator

Your body just wasn't ready! If it's not ready you can't force it to be. Good luck!
