another querie....can you listen to any ipod in your car? How does it work....do you plug it into your cigarette lighter and have special speakers to do you have to somehow connect it to your car stereo.....sorry for the total ignorance!!!!! Thinking of christmas pressie options.

Some car stereos have an input for an ipod. If your's doesn't, most new stereos do have it now.

Other than that, yes you can buy car adapters for ipods. But then I am pretty sure you would probably have to buy an ipod dock stereo with speakers.

if u have a line in on ur stereo (aux) u would just use a 3.5mm jack to jack lead

You can buy a device that plugs into your cigarette lighter thing.

Be careful.. shop around. I got my boyfriend his adaptor thing for about $40, but some were MUCH more than that!
