i see some new names here! NEED HELP

hey girls.. well i was.. and AM .. on a hiatus from BnB...

but i had to come and chat with y'all because im really concerned and i need your help. im not sure if i should consult my doctor, or if SOMEONE, anyone, can tell me that they know what im going thru, and im not dying!!!

everytime i put some of these symptoms in to google, it says like ovarian cancer or smething tragic. please help!

I am probably around CD12-15 right now. not exactly sure as i have givin up counting days, no OPKs, no nothing. just dtd every other, and sometimes every day, just basically when i feel like it. and drinking 1cup GFjuice every day. besides that im letting nature take its course and ignoring my obsessiveness to POAS.

ok so like i said i am prob around cd12-15.

on friday, which i think was cd12, i went to the bathroom and wiped and pink tinged cm. this NEVER happens to me. i was very concerned as i know its too early to ov i think, and i heard rumors GFjuice delays ov, so this doesnt match up. well i put on a liner and my husband and i went out about an hr away. when we got where were going, i stood up, walked a few feet, and had a "gush".. TMI im sorry. almost like an over flowing tampon. i went to the bthroom and it was over flowing the liner. it was still, light pinky red CM.. and in the center, one TINY.. tiny.. tissue like RED dot. like the tiniest thing ever of it. (keep in mind, during the previos 24hrs i had a dull ache on my left ovary.) i know some ppl might be like, oh its spotting from ov, but ive never done this previously, and it seems like quite a bit.
well it disappeared. we dtd that night, and still no more spotting.

now its two days later. no ov cramps, no dull ache, and i went pee, and here the spotting is again. but its so faint, i only see it on the tissue, not even on my underwear.

WHAT IN THE WORLD IS HAPPENING? could i have a cyst? should i consult my doctor? i am like terrified that something is really medically wrong!!!


any advice.. please!!!!

I know this is totally going to blow your mind but thats what I just went through and my body had switched cycles on me. I know this is depressing as I thought I was having a VERY early miscarriage but I wasn't. Come to find out the night I figured it out I went out and bought OPK's to see what was going on and I was O'ing and hadn't had an "official" AF visit so I put that off as an early MC or implantation at 9-10dpo at the time. Now I am just starting over on a total new cycle....were you stressed or anything bad going on at the time. I was having a rough time with my oldest child and he stressed me out so badly I guess I had a VERY light and 5 day early AF visit so I totally didn't think it was AF but my chart says it was since I did the OPK's! Goodluck and I hope you get it all figured out I wouldn't say go to the doctor just yet until you have another month of "no AF" visit or something worse happen than what you explained. Goodluck sweetie I will keep FX for you and babydust and sticky glue to you! Let us know what happens it to me in my opinion just sounds like your cycle changed. I wouldn't worry too much you'll stress yourself out .....but like I said just wait and see what happens. I spotted for a whole week but only when I wiped and didn't have any AF cramps whatsoever!

its weird because i have been so stress free this month. nothing is bothering me in the least! i gave up bnb, opk's, EPO, any supplements, etc and i am just being relaxed and happy! i even had days off with my husband which we never get, so i wasnt stressed in the least! i should be ovulating this week, so i just dont understand it. i had liek ov cramping, but have never had so much CM mixed with the pink. i dont think its a flow, because it was gne for two days and came back and is like so faint i cant even notice it. but perhaps my cycles are changing and ur right!!! at least you dont thnk i should go to the docs. i feel better, at least no one thinks i have cancer yet. lol. thank god.

No because what your going through sounds like me I haven't had AF since forever then I barely spotted for 2 days. My last "true" AF was July 30th. Then I spotted 2 days August 22nd and 23rd. Then nothing and still NOTHING lol so I took the OPK's and got the positive on Sept. 3rd and was like hmm wonder if those 2 days were my AF so I did a calculator and sure enough that was it just 5 days earlier so now I have a 23-24 day cycle instead of my REGULAR 28 which I've been on since I was 12 years old. How weird it all of a sudden just wants to flip on me after so long! So weird but I am 26 so I am getting older and I guess our bodies just do that sometimes I read a lot about it and it seems to happen as women get in their 20's so I guess I am NORMAL lol....goodluck and I'm sure you'll be just fine! I'm just glad I'm not the only one it has happened to thankfully!

I got this about 4/5 months after I stopped bc. It happened for a few cycles, and I went to the doctor because, like you, I had googled and just came up with scary stuff! Anyway she took some swabs and did a smear, all clear, and told me it was likely down to hormones trying to regulate. A complete pain, but nothing to be worried about!

Hey there!!! I'm no doctor, but this sounds to me like Ovulation spotting / bleeding, which I get almost EVERY month. I get spotting or bleeding usually about 2 or 3 days before Ov. Sometimes it lasts for a few days too. And usually it's pink / red bleeding mixed with CM although sometimes it's just brown spotting. I talked to my dr and she told me it was an excellent fertility sign and not to worry. I had this 10 years ago every month, which is why I went on the pill (it seriously felt like I have having AF 2 x each month!). Then when I went off the pill a year ago it came back.

I would def check with your dr just to make sure, but I just wanted to let you know that this can be very normal. My dr said that the bleeding happens because of a change in hormones or because of the follicles maturing or bursting or something like that.

I am used to it now, but it was scary for me too years ago when it first started happening. I hope this is nothing but a good fertility sign for you!!!! My only concern with it now is that it is causing a bad environment for the sperm to live in since it always happens around my most fertile time.

Spotting mid-cycle is very common. Have you had a cervical smear recently? If you had and its normal then good.

There are loads of reasons spotting can happen. The main culprits are:

1. Infection - like a vaginal infection such as Thrush or Bacterial Vaginosis
2. Cervical Ectropion - where the sensitive inner epithelium (skin layer) of the cervix 'bulges' out into the external part of the cervix and this is more fragile and prone to bleeding. Very VERY common in ladies who are on or who have previously been on a hormonal form of contraception or hormone treatment of any kind. I have one, scared the crap out of me when I first noted the bleeding! Sounds scary but isnt.
3. Vigorous/rough sexy time *winks*
4. Ovulation spotting.

If you are still worried, I dont think going to see your GP would do any harm and they may be able to reassure you. Also, if you havent had a recent cervical smear then go for one...we should always look after our cervices ladies!

Lastly: NEVER try to self-diagnose on the internet! I cannot stress how dangerous that can be. There are some sites out there that are not regulated by any official medical body and can have false info out there which will worry people. I know its hard not too when you are so worried but I think it stresses people out even further!

Hope you feel better soon hun and try and relax and enjoy yourself. You've done so well to relax on your BnB holiday. Go and see your GP for some reassurance and then carry on with the fun!
